Sennder is a European digital freight forwarder connecting shippers with carriers — digitising road logistics through a data-driven platform for booking and tracking loads.

TLDR

We have reduced operational cost by making SME clients more autonomous.

Context

Unlike Everoad, Sennder was not really tech and product driven and everything was operated mostly manually.

When Everoad joined Sennder in 2020, nothing was made to properly migrate their own clients who were used to be fully autonomous on tracking and managing their loads.

Approach

After the merge, the strategy remained the same: to keep a positive ROI, SMEs had to stay as autonomous as possible and not rely on Operators.

We ran several interviews with our most engaged clients to define what the top priorities were in their way of working.

For a while, some clients were almost part of the product team. The engagement was incredible.

Outcome

By rebuilding these two main pillars of the Everoad platform, we decreased time needed to fill a quote request for both shippers and ops teams by about 2 minutes, now within the Sennder ecosystem.
